I made this today with the 'rapid-rise' active dry yeast with super excellent results, I can't keep my paws off the loaf. The olive oil and honey made this bread slightly sweet, yet light and airy. Not dense at all. A great easy recipe to make allowing the bread machine to do all the hard work in making the dough while you go about your chores, you let it rise only once after you shape it, and yet you get the homemade taste we all seek and crave. An amazing smell will assault your kitchen, a warning to the wise...

Melt the butter in a skillet, and then saute the mushrooms, celery, onions, and parsley. Put the focaccia bread cubes in a big bowl and spoon the sauteed vegetables over the top. Add the seasonings and toss the mixture well.

Place focaccia wedges on the grill rack; grill for 1 to 2 minutes or until toasted. Remove burgers and focaccia from grill. Place each burger on a wedge of slow cooker focaccia bread; sprinkle immediately with cheese. Spoon Tomato Relish on top. Makes 6 burgers.

You must check the dates on the ingredients you are about to use. Being a beginner to the baking world, some of the ingredients you'll need may not get used very often. Ingredients that are expired can set you for failure, especially yeast. You may follow your focaccia bread exactly, but the dough doesn't rise because the yeast was out of date. Check the dates on everything before you start.

Cooked the onion for about 15 to 20 minutes with continues stirring that is to caramelized the onion and bring out the sugar. This will add an amazing flavor into any kind of recipe. Juts make sure not to overcook the onion because it will burn.

Service was good. Our waitress was friendly but not overly so and attentive without hovering. Our only complaint was that the gap between focaccia bread flour recipe and entrees was a little long, but our wine glasses were kept full and we had a nice chat, so we didn't mind. (I'm guessing this would be a bigger deal on a (bad) first date. On a "we've been married for four years" Tuesday night, not so big.) Oh, and our table was right next to a server station, and the station's drawer repeatedly popped out and hit Cooper's chair. Not so frequently that it was terribly annoying, but not infrequently, either.
